All went well. My only feedback is from experience I've had with other companies. When it's the first time doing business with the team I do appreciate when I receive a phone call introduction and always appreciate the closing phone call. We know it's going to happen and we know it's in the morning but I always appreciate the call like a formal announcement and can pass on that same experience to my client.

One recommendation: In the future if the KW ABA is not part of the Purchase Contract or the Counter, do not hold up releasing the prelim report because it wasn't there. That doesn't show neutrality which is Escrows' function
It’s definitely been an interesting as well as frustrating experience dealing with an REO… what should have closed in April closed in July….and 6 extensions later..Darin worked diligently to help seal the deal!

Tran Vo and Dan Doan did an amazing job closing this purchase transaction for us. The lender threw a lot of curveballs at us, especially just before closing, but Tran and Dan did a wonderful job staying on top of the lenders closing team and having them provide the closing documents right in time for signing. I will be referring them to all of our loan officers at HME in the future!
I've completed a couple transactions with First Hawaii Title and it gets better each time.
For a great service, I would like communication throughout the process. Any red flags, any issues from the prelim, any preventative measures we can take to be ahead (ex. buyer/seller off island during escrow)
I would like communication when signing docs are being sent out (if signing at lenders office) just to be kept in the loop.
A call to buyer/seller and agents on closing day for a more personable congratulations would be nice.
And to be ready and available should the buyer/seller have any questions on escrow docs/opening package etc.
Evelyn and her team were great. Very efficient and handled a transaction for us that we had to leave First American Title from because they couldn't get closed or insured. Five stars for Evelyn and her problem solving skills. Was closed on time and would definitely use again.

Jermain did an excellent job. The LOI or release of mortgage took too long and is a common problem for title. When mortgages are paid, lenders should be required to record the release.
Tran was always on top of our closing, she was accommodating and professional. I will definitely be using her again on my next transaction and telling all my friends.
