All appeared to be done as planned, scheduled and expected. Funds from the sale were wired to our bank and we received those funds on Monday, September 30th. Thank you for a successful closing and transferring of funds.

Not sure who is/was responsible but I sent a friend to my new house on 9 Aug 2024 to inspect it once it "closed on Wed 7 Aug 2024 and when she arrived the listing agents Key pad (lock) was still on door. This was a Friday. This is the way I found out that my mortgage paperwork was "lost" somewhere . My realtor tried everything she could to talk to all parties involved to find out where my package was and to get it closed. It was unbelievable to me because isn't this done routinely and why would there be a problem.

I thought the closing agent did a very good job answering my tax related procedural questions. We got everything signed in a very efficient way. I don't know why the buyer and seller couldn't have been in the close at the same time however. This was different from my previous experiences.

I think the communications between my realtor and the title company was confusing as it seemed only a day or two before settlement, the location was changed. It was a good location change. There was also a mixup on times. I think it would be best to negotiate all through title company rather then between realtor and title company. It all worked out, but was a little confusing. The title company representative was very knowledgeable and took time to explain things I didn’t understand. She was great!

Moreover, the settlement statement, a crucial document in the closing process, is typically furnished three days prior to the scheduled closing date. In my attempts to reach out to Janet and Summer for additional information, I encountered an instance where Janet communicated that she had previously addressed my inquiry, despite my not having received any prior communication from her. The information was essential for me to effectively communicate with my clients. Janet later clarified that she did not have the loan package. This significantly impacted my ability to facilitate meaningful discussions with my customers. A proactive approach, initially acknowledging the absence of specific details, would have greatly enhanced my overall experience. Such upfront communication would have been instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of information and interaction throughout the entire closing process. Thank you!
